About the Club
Visitors
All visitors are welcome and are asked to be aware of the dress code, courtesy, respect and etiquette required by the Club, if any guidance is needed please see the Rink Office or a member of the Committee.
Facilities
The Club’s main facility is a seven rink indoor bowling green with spacious Gents’ and Ladies' changing rooms. There is a licensed bar overlooking the bowling green. In addition a restaurant offers dining at various times. The restaurant area can seat 60 people with seating for 40 people in the bar area.
There are televisions, two full size snooker tables, a pool table and games machines.
There is ample parking for cars and coaches in our private car park.
Opening hours
The Club is open seven days a week throughout the indoor bowling season.
Monday 9.30am-9pm, Tuesday 8.30am-6pm, Wednesday 8.30am-9pm, Thursday 9.30am-9pm, Friday 9.30am-10pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm.
Dress
A reasonable standard of dress is expected of members and visitors playing at the stadium. The following is not a complete list of clothing that is not acceptable but is posted to inform.
The following clothing should not be worn on the green:
Soiled work clothing;
Clothing with inappropriate or offensive language or pictures;
Clothing with political symbols or messages;
Football or other sports team shirts (excepting bowls club shirts) or clothing with football colours;
T-shirts with cut away arms or vests etc. e.g. muscle man shirts;
Midriff baring tops or trousers;
And see through shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts or trousers.
Members or visitors wearing the clothing listed will not be allowed on the green.
